About the project (english)

Everything started with some pictures I took of my mother at the very end of her life. And with the – disgusted or charmed – reactions of my public in front of these pictures.
The comments too, from fellow photographers, that thought my approach was intrusive, invasive and lacked the respect of my models.
At the end, a friend popped up with the expression “touching”. Litterally: with a movement of the hand in front of her. As if these pictures had more to do with touch than with sight.

I started then to search for a new field for this “touch photography”.
Not ready yet to confront with skin slowly degrading with the age.
Not interested by the too soft and perfect skin of standard models.
I went very naturally to the inked skin.
